NYBP programs every extension with its own unique direct inbound dial (DID) telephone number. You can choose your number from any of the available rate centers and area codes within those centers, regardless of where your phone will be physically located! So you can pick a phone number with an area code that's right for you. Rate center selection does not affect your calling rates and gives you the freedom to choose the best area code for your company.
Looking to Keep Your Old Phone Number?
NYBP can make it happen! We’ll port your existing number free of charge when you place your initial order or even after you have become an NYBP subscriber, as long as you maintain phone service for the number you want to transfer. During the porting process, we will provide a temporary phone number that is your option to keep. After your number has successfully ported, your old phone service should be turned off. You are advised to contact your previous carrier to confirm this.
